2. Description of Service

Pulsar is an emergency dispatch alert monitoring service that provides:

• Real-time monitoring of emergency services audio feeds
• Push notifications and webhook alerts for emergency events
• Filtering by department (police, fire, EMS) and event types
• Multi-device notification support
• Commercial newsroom features for qualifying subscribers

3. User Accounts and Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your account information to keep it accurate and current
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Subscription Tiers and Billing

Pulsar offers multiple subscription tiers:

• Free Tier: Limited to 1 feed, specific event types only, push notifications only
• Basic Tier: Up to 3 feeds, all event types, push notifications
• Pro Tier: Up to 5 feeds, department filtering, push notifications
• Commercial Tiers: Newsroom features, newsworthy event filtering
• Enterprise Tiers: Webhook support, unlimited filtering options

Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Interfere with emergency services operations
• Redistribute emergency information for commercial purposes without proper authorization
• Overwhelm emergency services with unnecessary inquiries
• Use the service for any illegal surveillance or stalking activities
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Use the service to harass, abuse, or harm others

6. Emergency Information Disclaimer

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Emergency information may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate
• The service is for informational purposes only
• You should never rely solely on Pulsar for emergency information
• Always call official emergency services if you witness an emergency
• We are not responsible for any actions taken based on information received through our service

7. Push Notifications and Data Usage

By enabling push notifications, you consent to:

• Receiving emergency alerts on your registered devices
• Storage of device push subscription data for notification delivery
• Automatic cleanup of expired or invalid push subscriptions
• Multi-device notification support

You can disable push notifications at any time through your account settings or device settings.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. We collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which includes:

• Account information (username, email, subscription details)
• Device information for push notifications
• Usage analytics to improve our service
• Payment information processed securely through Stripe

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Pulsar and its licensors. The service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

11. Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• That defects will be corrected
• Availability of any particular audio feed
• Accuracy or completeness of emergency information

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with or without notice.

12. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pulsar from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Your violation of these terms

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these terms. Upon termination:
